Come Bye Border Collie Rescue puppies are wormed for intestinal parasites, received their age appropriate vaccines and are microchipped. If too young to spay or neuter, the adopter will agree to spay or neuter the puppy as a part of the adoption, along with the payment of an additional $100 deposit.

Please note this dog's foster home Location is included on this page, but you must go through the adoption process and be approved prior to doing a meet and greet with the foster dog.

Meet Brody!

Originally came from the southern Indiana several of our dogs have come from. This small shelter struggles to place dogs. He was relinquished to this shelter by his owner with the name Buster.

He is a very soft boy. He has made leaps and bounds so far. He now readily approaches for affection. He is a very cuddly boy but VERY sensitive to pressure. He is good with other dogs but some dogs bring out the herder in him. He picks and chooses dogs he wants to move. Some dogs are not in favor of this behavior.... he is easily called off when you see him get that look like he wants to make a dog move. He plays in daycare all day every day.

I would also consider him a flight risks as he is so sensitive and a bit noise sensitive as well. We are working on his crate training. He is pretty well house trained at this time. He is interested in the kitties but when he is up close to them, he loses interest. He is excellent for baths. He rides well in the car and will now jump in and out on his own. He will need a securely fenced yard, no invisible fence and a patient human. But, in terms of looks......you won't find a more gorgeous.

Please contact stephodellbc@hotmail.com if you have any questions about Brody.  You can complete an application to adopt Brody or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org

***  The potential adopter will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.
