Rue was obtained by her current owners when she was a puppy, from a breeder who appears to be no longer around or breeding.  Rue is an intelligent dog whose habits make her easy to live with, except for the uneasiness she displays around small children.  Rue has not been tested on cats, but her owners believe that given her strong herding/prey instincts, she should not live with either cats or small children.  However, in all other respects Rue is a congenial companion and would likely do well with another dog in the home.
