Meet Gus, a sweet 11-year-old male Border Collie rescued from a hoarding situation in Central Indiana in 2014. Gus loves playing with other dogs and is often the first to welcome newcomers, regardless of size. He’s curious and follows his foster around, coming when called and seeking out his crate for comfort.

While he thrives on routine, Gus can be anxious outside familiar settings. He enjoys tennis balls and chew bones, and although he doesn’t yet seek human touch, he’ll come to sniff when calm. Gus is surprisingly good in the bathtub and tolerates nail trimming without trying to escape. 

 Gus slowly discovered who he was and what he enjoyed. It’s been a joy to watch his journey unfold!
