Alisdair (adoption pending)
Adoption Alert!!!!
Some stories are so affirming they need to be shared. The story of Alisdair, "Dair" , is one of them.
In May 2017 Dair ended up in a shelter in Chicago, for the second time, under the column marked "stray". No one came to claim him. When checking Dair for a microchip it was discovered he had one connecting him to CBBCR. The chip was 10 years old. A call was made to CBBCR. His history after leaving CBBCR was nebulous. A plan was constructed to reclaim Dair from the Anti Cruelty Shelter. Isabelle and her family collected Dair from the shelter. A transport was arranged to deliver Diar to foster mom Lisa in Springfield .
Today we are happy to announce the marvelously mysterious Dair has become part of our family which includes CBBCR alumnus, Finn. We fell in love with Dair during the transport. Despite his misfortunes in Chicago, Dair never lost his resilient nature or his buoyant personality. A trip to the vet pronounced him healthy and happy. This is the story of how the efforts of so many of the CBBCR volunteers brought Dair to a new home. As Elaine said, "Welcome home, Dair".
Congrats to Dair, Rosemary and the happy family!!!
