Zoe
Zoe is doing great. Typical Border Collie-- she keeps the cats in line! She has her sister, Willow, who is a very laid back black lab. They're a perfect match for each other.
Sharma
She's doing great! We absolutely love her. Everyone comments on what a beatuirul sweetie she is.
Foxy Roxy
Foxy is doing well. She loves to cuddle with the girls, loves her daily walk, is very affectionate and likes to be around people.
Sadie
We adopted Sadie, now known as Maggie, from Judi Wiegle last October
and recently relocated to the Seattle, Washington area. After a long road trip out here from Chicago, Maggie is now enjoying a 0.5-acre waterfront property where she can chase frisbees and geese to her heart's content. She is doing absolutely great and we just love her to death. Thank you for the work you're doing for these dogs. They are a treasure.
Attached is a photo of Maggie checking out the burros in Custer State Park, SD, on our trip from Chicago to Seattle. If the picture had sound you'd be hearing a low growl...
Casey
July 2010
I have been wanting to send you a note and give you an update on Casey. She is doing GREAT! I cannot tell you how much we love her and are so happy with our experience adopting her. She is a very loyal girl with Anna, every where she goes, Casey goes too. She still loves to run after bunnies but listens very well when she gets to far. Her best friend is a Burmese mountain dog named Sadie, whom we go for walks with and play tag in the field with. She has learned that my son Hayden is the go to man for food. It doesn't matter what he has, she wants to try a bite and he is more than willing to give her a taste. Her favorite place to sleep, is on the living room couch and she knows, she is not suppose to but only does it when she THINKS, we are not looking. We sure are enjoying her and thank you so much for the care you gave her before she came to us. She has an appointment July 6th for a beauty treatment, so I will send you an updated picture then. Thanks again Martie
I just wanted to catch you up on our baby Casey. She has done VERY well with us. Her coat has grown out quite well and she LOVES the snow. She digs in it and eats it. She is very happy here being able to run around out side with out a leash now. Of course we watch her but we've trained her to play with us in the front yard with no leash to hold her back. She is very good about not barking at other dogs lately too.MY family and I have had a great deal of fun with her and love her company. I am so glad we adopted her and I want you to know everything is fine with us and she is happy here.
P.S. The only health problems we have had, were, a little infection on her back left pad from walking on the asphalted too much. Also, she had two ear infections but the vet said that they cleared up very nicely and she is very healthy now. She still weighs 51 lbs and we are happy about it. The vet also said that she is very healthy, she shows no signs of any hip problems or joint problems.
CASEY ROCKS
Casey is doing very well. We have spoiled her rotten but on the other hand she spoils us with her love. Her new little trick that is, she will come up with me at night, as I go to bed, she makes sure everyone is in their beds, then comes down stairs when all is quiet and jumps up on the living room couch and sleeps, the minute she hears someone, down she jumps to the floor and pretends she is asleep!!!!!!!!! I do believe she thinks she has us fooled! We are so thankful for her and feel very lucky to have her in our lives! Thanks so much.
