Come Bye Border Collie Rescue adult dogs offered for adoption have been heartworm tested and are on heartworm preventative, spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and, in season, on flea/tick preventative.
Come Bye Border Collie Rescue puppies are wormed for intestinal parasites, received their age appropriate vaccines and are microchipped. If too young to spay or neuter, the adopter will agree to spay or neuter the puppy as a part of the adoption, along with the payment of an additional $100 deposit.

Liam is a 2 year old male Border Collie Liam is being fostered in Monmouth, Illinois.
Liam is a sweet boy who has yet to meet a person he doesn’t like. He can be a little grouchy when meeting a new dog, but is not aggressive, and within minutes is playing with his new friend.
He is good around cats, although if the cats are chasing one another, Liam might join in the fun, but he quickly loses interest. In the time he has been with me, I have noticed he is less and less interested in the cats. Liam loves snacks, playing fetch, and hanging out with his foster family. He loves going for walks, but does pull hard on the leash, so we are working on that and have seen improvement, he is also housebroken. We are also working on name recall with Liam and he is doing very well. Liam has medium energy and likes to be busy, but he also has an “off” switch and is just as happy relaxing with his people. Liam loves to snuggle and has a heart full of love for the right family.
